Stephen calls me "The Boss." Ha! Only because I'm the one who got us into this business! I've been passionate about photography and documenting special moments since I was gifted my first camera for Christmas my junior year of high school in 2012. I graduated from Missouri State University with my bachelors degree in Art Education. After a few years of teaching, I picked up my camera again and haven't looked back!
You can call me "Mal."
My background in art education was extremely helpful in my transition to full time photography! I find joy in educating my couples and clients to help them feel prepared and comfortable for their sessions. I tap into my creativity to plan out ways to personalize your experience with Kaysen Photos.
I am SO thankful to work with people who want to remember the big moments in their life with special care and attention. We have built our business on trust and communication!
I can't believe this is my job.
Not only is he my husband (and crush), Stephen has jumped in and become such an integral part of our business! He currently works as a full-time software engineer, but also is lead videographer and/or go-to second shooter for our team. We are the perfect duo for your wedding day, and often get complimented on how well we work together. Towards the end of the night you can find him tearing up the dance floor!
